Hicom Entertainment Co., Ltd. is one of the oldest and best selling PC game software publishing and distributing companies in South Korea. It was originally founded under the name Hicom Co., Ltd. in 1988.
Over the past 10 years, Hicom has enjoyed great sucess in the PC gaming industry, and at times dominated up to 40% of the total domestic market. Hicom's diversity as a game developer, publisher, distributor, and magazine publisher attributed to its success. In 1998, due to the financial crisis in Korea, Hicom was affected by the capital shortage, which led to corporate restructuring. The restructuring led to a re-launching of the company under the new name of Hicom Entertainment Co., Ltd. The commitment to provide quality products at Hicom grew even stronger during those difficult times. This is evidenced by the publication and distribution of more than 10 new titles since the restructuring, as like :

Currently, Hicom has a contract with KaosKontrol to distribute throughout Korea BlockWar and Genocide Remix.

Although the Korean market has been unstable in the past several years, Hicom Entertainment Co., Ltd. has maintained its position as a reliable performer. In the current league of game distributors and publishers, Hicom Entertainment Co., Ltd. continues to be ranked within the top five companies nationwide. Notwithstanding the restructuring, Hicom Entertainment Co., Ltd. maintains to be a reliable and good investment opportunity.

The key to Hicom's success is the start to finish process of PC game distribution. The initial step to game development is performed by our development team then publishes and distributes the game through its own distribution channels and retail outlet.
